Dr John Pates has been involved in performance coaching and education for the past 20 years.

He is one of the most qualified and most successful sports psychologists in the world. For the past five years John has worked almost exclusively on the European PGA golf tour. His impressive list of clients consists of seven Ryder Cup players including, captain Ian Woosnam, Philip Price, Thomas Bjorn, Darren Clarke, Paul Broadhurst, Graeme McDowell and Jean Van de Velde. He writes and delivers psychology programmes for the English Golf Union as well as the British and Swiss Professional Golf Associations.
